I designed a necklace for the journal girls with July Child. Keeping a journal has deeply transformed my life in more ways than I could ever describe. It feels so special to create a sentimental forever piece to symbolize how special the practice of journaling and the broader journaling community is to me. <3
Much like a real journal, the charm is functional and opens to reveal secret magic and dreams.
I imagine running into a fellow journal girl one day wearing this necklace and feeling a sense of instant recognition and connection. I can’t wait to see it glimmer on you!

Our Pre-Order Policy
The first 50 orders ship in 1–2 weeks, with the rest arriving within 1.5–2 months. Note that mixed orders (in-stock + pre-order) will be held until the pre-order is ready. Want your in-stock items sooner? Place them as a separate order!
Orders dispatched Mon–Fri. Place before 4pm for next-day dispatch. If anything arrives damaged or missing, email hello@julychild.co.uk.
Returns: 30 days, unused and in original packaging with proof of purchase. Earrings, gift cards, and custom nameplates are final sale. Sale items = store credit only. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

1. Store jewelry in a clean, dry place away from natural sunlight, humidity (bathroom), and heat.
2. Each piece should be stored individually to avoid scratching, in an air-tight zip lock if possible to avoid air contact.
3. Remove jewelry before showering, going to bed, or participating in physical activity especially swimming. Remove rings before washing your hands every time.
4. Avoid exposure to sweat and harsh chemicals such as perfumes, cleaning agents, chlorine, and saltwater.
5. Use a silver-polishing cloth to clean the pieces if the jewelry has become dull. Do apply pressure but not too much.

Inspired by ornate antique books discovered by Martina in a vintage store in Brooklyn's Dumbo neighbourhood, this miniature journal necklace is designed to be a precious, wearable keepsake.
